Mike Murray, just won the First Port Townsend Open. He also helps maintain this website.

Ernst Rasmussen   another Port Townsend local chess player, is a well-known expert on the Blackmar-Diemer Gambit. Here's one of his games from Tom Purser's website devoted to that opening.

Sam Hill,   Two time Alaska champ, lives in Port Townsend.
